Solutions
Defined solutions to fast-track progress
Some cloud work needs bespoke consulting, but plenty of it can be solved with a packaged solution. We start there, so you only pay for a bigger engagement when the problem genuinely calls for one.
Our solutions are built around proven processes with known outcomes, so you get clear results without a large, open-ended project. Whether you need to prove the case before committing, prepare your environment, safely deploy changes or take control of costs, we'll help you take the next practical step.
How We Work
Begin at the end
Every solution starts with what you need to achieve, then works back to the right way to get there.
The right mix
We'll review whether a packaged solution will do the job, or whether the problem calls for deeper consulting.
Matched to you
We match the solution to your size, maturity, industry and objectives, so you're not over-investing.
Business Case
Prove the value and win approval to proceed
A business case sets out the what, why and how of your cloud initiative to inform stakeholders, address questions, get sign off and release the budget.
- We start with what your business is trying to achieve, then connect that to the technical outcomes, because automated tooling alone can't make that link
- We talk to your stakeholders to understand the detail behind your environment, like a system another project is about to change, or one that's due for replacement and shouldn't be in the scope at all
- Your solution is sized to your organisation and the ambition of the project, and sometimes deliverable at no cost through cloud-provider funding
Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD)
Move changes into your environment quickly and safely
CI/CD is a development approach built around how quickly a change can move safely into your environment. It covers everything from development and testing through to staging and production, including the code repository, deployment architecture and the pipeline and tooling behind it.
- We assess your current systems, processes and architecture, then build a deployment process that suits them
- Tailored to the maturity of your organisation, so it fits how your teams actually work
- Paired with a landing zone or migration, you get a documented process your team can keep using to expand and manage the environment long after the project ends
Landing Zone
Secure, well-governed foundations for your cloud workloads
A landing zone is the foundation of a cloud environment, set up and ready before your first business system moves in. It ensures the fundamentals are in place: security, networking, cost control and governance.
- We build from a range of proven patterns, sized to your business and goals, and updated as the cloud platforms change
- Our experience means it's set up correctly from the outset, avoiding the need for retrofitting which can result from getting the foundations wrong
- A landing zone is often built ahead of a migration. Pair it with CI/CD, and you also get a documented process for making changes and expanding as you grow
Cost Guardian FinOps
Ongoing cost control, with the savings returned to you
Cost Guardian is a cloud cost-control solution. When you transfer your cloud billing to us, we monitor costs, watch for bill spikes and keep looking for ways to optimise your investment. It gives you a FinOps capability without having to build a FinOps team of your own.
- Provided at no cost to you, with an ongoing discount of around 3% against your cloud bill
- Those savings come back to you as money, not the service credits that are more common in the industry
- Deeper FinOps analysis targets one-off reductions of 5 to 15% on top of that

“When it came to defining the technical strategy for what we were going to deliver, we had some really robust conversations with our lead engineers and the Mantalus team. They challenged our thought process. It was good to have them bring that level of expertise to the table.”
Callan Brow
“We have utilised several highly regarded AWS Partners early in our cloud migration journey. But now those vendors all look to Mantalus for direction because of their industry-leading capability.”
Rupesh Kapadia
“Mantalus combine high-level expertise and a super-helpful attitude; they’re a fantastic team to work with.”
Fransiscus Lesmana
“Mantalus stands out for the speed and accuracy of their responses, and their highly automated, best-practice approach has helped us through multiple audits while building and consistently maintaining a robust security framework.”
Peter Tsiggounis
“Our environment's stability with Mantalus has been strong enough to be highlighted to our board more than once, thanks to their team working closely alongside our developers, proactively improving visibility and metrics, and always pushing to do better rather than just maintain the status quo.”

FAQs
How do we know if we need a packaged solution or a full consulting engagement?
We usually recommend starting with a packaged solution. Most of what customers need early on is repeatable, so there's no sense paying for an open-ended engagement to get there. If the problem turns out to be genuinely bespoke, we'll discuss this and scope and cost it properly.
Is CI/CD worth it if our deployments already work?
Why is Cost Guardian free?
Cost Guardian is available to customers who transfer their cloud billing through us. In return, you get an ongoing discount of around 3% on your bill, and we monitor your spend, watch for bill spikes and keep looking for ways to optimise your costs. Deeper analysis targets one-off reductions of 5 to 15% on top of that. The savings come back to you as money, not the service credits more common in the industry.
We've already decided to move. Do we still need a business case?
You usually only need a business case if a stakeholder has to approve the project. It connects what the business is trying to achieve to the technical work required, which is what releases the budget. It also flags scope changes, like a system that's due for replacement and shouldn't be in the project at all.
What is a landing zone?
A landing zone is everything that needs to be configured before your first workload arrives: the account structure, network design, access rules, security controls, logging and cost guardrails. Getting those right at the start avoids the retrofitting that comes from building on foundations that weren't designed for your purpose.
Do Landing Zones and CI/CD work together?
Yes, they work separately or together. If you already have a landing zone, we can build CI/CD into it. If you're starting from scratch, pairing the two gives you the environment plus a documented process for changing and expanding it. We'll work out what's genuinely needed and the right sequence for it, rather than selling you more than you need.
