Mantalus is not a reporting entity under the *Modern Slavery Act 2018* (Cth), because our annual consolidated revenue is below the $100 million reporting threshold. We publish this statement because we believe businesses of every size should be open about how they manage modern slavery risk, and it follows the Act's reporting criteria. ### Our commitment We are committed to conducting business responsibly and ethically, and to making sure our operations and supply chains are free from modern slavery. Modern slavery includes unpaid or underpaid servitude, human trafficking, forced labour and other forms of exploitation. We reject all of them, and we are committed to maintaining effective systems and controls to prevent them from occurring in our business or our supply chains. ### Our business Mantalus is a Melbourne-based cloud consultancy and an AWS Advanced Partner. We provide professional services, managed services and the resale of cloud services, with capability in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. We operate only in Australia. ### Our supply chains Our main suppliers are cloud and software providers, including AWS, Microsoft and Google, and hardware vendors where a customer engagement includes hardware. We also buy office space, building services, IT equipment, travel, professional services and consumables. ### Modern slavery risks We are a professional services business and our people are employed in Australia, so we assess the risk of modern slavery in our own operations as low. We recognise that we could be exposed indirectly through our supply chains, for example through the manufacture of IT hardware and devices, the construction and operation of data centres, and outsourced services such as cleaning and security. We have not identified any suppliers that we consider high risk. ### Actions we take To manage these risks, we: - buy fair trade certified consumables where possible; - conduct due diligence on third party service providers; and - partner with suppliers who share our stance on modern slavery. We will not work with a supplier we assess as high risk unless we have first assessed that doing so will not compromise our standards. ### Assessing effectiveness We review this statement and the actions above at least once a year, and whenever our business or suppliers change in a way that could affect our modern slavery risk. We update our approach based on what we find. ### Training and awareness We train our people so that they understand how their choices can affect basic human rights around the world. We will keep identifying and evaluating human rights risks, and keep developing our policies, procedures and training to help combat modern slavery. ### Raising a concern Anyone, including our staff, customers and suppliers, can raise a concern about modern slavery or this statement with us at legal@mantalus.com.
